  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13×9-inch pan with cooking spray. In medium bowl, mix 1 cup Bisquick mix and the brown sugar. Cut in 1/4 cup butter, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions), until crumbly. Stir in nuts; set aside.
  • In large bowl, mix apples, cinnamon and nutmeg; spoon into pan. In medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients until well blended. Pour mixture over apples. Sprinkle with streusel.
  • Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean and top is golden brown. Cool 30 minutes or until set before cutting into squares. Store in refrigerator.

2 medium cooking apples, peeled and thinly sliced (2 cups)
1/3 cup water
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix
2 eggs

  • Heat oven to 400. Grease a 9 inch pie plate with cooking spray.
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Add apples and toss to coat.
  • Heat water and butter to boiling and reduce heat to low. Add bisquick and stir until mixture forms a ball; remove from heat.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time and beat until smooth.

2 to 3 teaspoons milk

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch square pan with cooking spray. In smal bowl, mix 2/3 cup Bisquick mix, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cut in butter, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 knives through ingredients in opposite directions), until crumbly; set aside.
