White Bread for the Bread Machine Recipe | Small Recipe

Bread machine white bread. Plain, simple, gets the job done, and tastes great.

Cook time: 3 hours 0 minutes

Yield: 1 loaf

Ingredients:

1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
3 tablespoons white sugar
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 ½ teaspoons salt
3 cups bread flour
2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast

Steps:

  • Place water, sugar, oil, salt, bread flour, and yeast into the pan of the bread machine (or in the order recommended by your bread machine manufacturer).
  • Bake on White Bread setting.
  • Use oven mitts to carefully remove the bread pan from the machine. Remove bread from the pan and let cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.

Soft and Easy White Bread (Bread Machine)

Another of my “go to” easy bread machine recipes. This promises to be fail proof and turns out a soft bread w/ a flaky crust. Perfect for all uses; my favorite is a big slice popped in the micro for 10 seconds and then slathered w/ butter for that “hot out the oven” goodness!

Ingredients:

1 cup(s) warm water (110 degrees f)
2 tablespoon(s) white sugar
1 package(s) bread machine yeast (equals 2 1/4 teaspoon)
1/4 cup(s) vegetable or olive oil
3 cup(s) bread flour
1 teaspoon(s) salt

Steps:

  • Place water, sugar, and yeast in bread pan. Allow yeast to dissolve and foam for 10 minutes.
  • Add oil, flour, and salt (ending w/ salt on top of flour) to yeast mixture in bread pan. Select basic or white bread setting.
