Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless) |
1/2 cup self-rising flour |
1/2 cup cornstarch |
1/2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
1/2 cup Seltzer water |
1 quart canola oil |
Steps:
- In a large bowl, sift the dry ingredients together and stir them until well combined.
- Stir in the seltzer water slowly until well combined. Make sure the batter is thicker than the pancake batter. To adjust the consistency, add more flour or seltzer water as needed.
- Slice the chicken into strips and sprinkle with salt. Dip the chicken in the batter, making sure it is completely covered.
