6 lbs country style pork ribs, 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, 2 tsp kosher salt,2 tsp freshly ground black pepper, 1/2 tsp red chili powder (optional), 2 tbsp tomato paste, 4 tsp paprika ,1 tsp onion powder, 1 large Spanish onion, peeled and quartered ,3 large carrots, peeled and cut into 3-inch pieces and 1 small green bell pepper cut into strips Directions.

Instructions

How to make Country style pork ribs

  • Start by preheating your oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Next, take two pounds of country-style pork ribs (I prefer them over other types of ribs because they’re easier to cook). Make sure that you rinse off any extra fat or bones from them, as well.
  • Once you’ve done so, place them on a sheet pan in a single layer and bake for about two hours.
  • After two hours, remove them from the oven and let them cool for about ten minutes before serving.
  • You can serve it with some white bread and coleslaw on top.

Tips and Tricks

Boneless pork ribs in the oven  are ideal for a slow-cooker recipe like this one. Since there’s no need to cut them up into smaller pieces, it saves on prep time and cleanup. Also, boneless country ribs can be cooked straight from frozen in a slow cooker. Just add an extra hour or two of cooking time if you’re using frozen meat. Serve these finger-lickin’ good country style ribs with cornbread and coleslaw for a true down-home feast.

Conclusion

Cooking up a batch of these country style pork ribs is as simple as cooking any other cut of meat. Simply dredge your pork chops in flour, and then cook them in butter for about ten minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy. If you need to thicken your sauce, simply add 1 Tbsp of cornstarch dissolved in water to make a slurry and stir it into your pan juices. Cook until thickened, often stirring so that it doesn’t get too clumpy. Serve with mashed potatoes, green beans, and fresh bread rolls.
