- 1 pound fettuccine

- 1/4 cup olive oil

- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 cup of sun-dried tomatoes, packed in oil

- 1/2 cup heavy cream

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  2. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package directions.
  3. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes and their oil, cream, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.
  7. Drain the fettuccine and add it to the saucepan with the sun-dried tomato sauce.
  8. Toss to combine.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

To prevent cooked pasta from sticking together, wait until the water is at a full, rapid boil before adding the farfalle.

Then stir the pasta as it cooks, stirring every 2-3 minutes.

Use good quality parmesan that you grate yourself.

Not the white sandy dust packaged in plastic boxes we sometimes find in the grocery aisle.

TO STORE THE CREAMY PASTA LEFTOVERS

Have you ever made a dish, taken a few bites, and then wondered how to store the leftovers? It’s a common dilemma in the kitchen, especially regarding creamy pasta. But don’t worry, we’re here to help!

Here are a few tips on how to store your creamy pasta leftovers, so they stay fresh and delicious:

First, make sure to cool the pasta down completely before storing it. You can do this by spreading it out on a plate or in a container. Then, cover the pasta and place it in the fridge.

When it comes to reheating, we recommend reheating the pasta in a pan on the stove. Add a little bit of water or pasta sauce to the pan and heat over medium heat until the pasta is warmed through. This will help to preserve the creamy texture of the pasta.

If you’re looking to store the pasta for longer, you can freeze it. Just make sure to place the pasta in a freezer-safe container, which will be good for up to 3 months. When you’re ready to eat it, simply thaw the pasta in the fridge overnight and reheat it on the stove.

So, there you have it! Just remember to cool the pasta down before storing it and reheat it on the stove for the best results.
