1 Lbs Ground beef |
1 Cup Chopped Onion |
1 clove Garlic minced |
1 Can (15.5 oz) Hanover light red kidney beans Drained |
2 cans (8.0 oz) Tomato sauce |
1/4 Tsp Cumin |
1/4 Tsp Black pepper |
1 Tbs Chili powder |
Steps:
- Brown the ground beef in heavy saucepan; drain. Add onion and garlic and cook until tender. Add the drained Hanover kidney beans and the remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes; stir occasionally. Add salt to taste.

2 tablespoon mccormick® chili powder |
2 teaspoon mccormick® ground cumin |
1 1/2 teaspoon mccormick® garlic salt |
1/2 teaspoon mccormick® oregano leaves |
1 can of kidney beans, drained |
1 can of diced tomatoes |
1 can of tomato sauce |
Steps:
- Cook ground beef and onion in large skillet on medium-high heat until beef is no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Drain fat, if needed.
- Stir in spices and remaining ingredients. Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream and chopped onion, if desired.
